Rita Ora

 Rita Sahatciu Ora is a British singer-songwriter, actress, and songwriter. She became famous in February 2012 when she was featured in DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached top spot in the UK. Ora, her debut studio album, released August 2012. It was released at number one in the United Kingdom. It featured two UK top-ten singles "R.I.P." "How We Do (Party)," and "R.I.P." Ora was the artist to have the highest number-one singles in the UK Singles Chart in 2012 and three of her singles reached the top spot. Ora's second studio album Phoenix was released in November 2018. The lead single, "Your Song", reached the UK top ten, and the two subsequent singles "Anywhere" and "Let You Love Me" reached the top five of the UK. "Let You Love Me" has made Ora the first British female solo artist to record thirteen songs that are top ten in the United Kingdom. Ora was born to Albanian parents in Pristina in SFR Yugoslavia. Vera (nee Bajraktari), her mother, is a psychiatrist. Besnik Sahatciu, her father is a pub keeper and had previously studied economics. Ora has an older brother named Don, and an older sister, Elena. Rita Sahatciu, her birth name, was pronounced [sahat'tSiuHer surname comes from the Turkish term saatci (which literally means "watchmaker") However, her parents have added Ora to their surnames to make it easy to pronounce. Her family fled Kosovo to escape persecution by the political authorities. Her home was Notting Hill, West London. She was a student at the Sylvia Young Theatre School for performing arts.
