Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after immigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and since 2020 - has made her famous. Commercial appearances weren't the only thing she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being chosen to voice the character in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of her family's financial difficulties, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she dropped out in her sophomore year. She then obtained the GED and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of the art of improv comedy.
