Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is the name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint-recording contracts with Epic and T.I. He also signed a record contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh. Then, he was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott followed that year with the release of a joint album, Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the title Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album also produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the second quarter of 2019. The album was a top contender for the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. in the year 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one in less than a year.
