Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was a member and the captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the floor for the team and in individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded with her balance bar. She became one of the few American to be awarded the most medals at an Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics she was awarded a gold medal in the team event which earned her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being one of the very first Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. She also won silver medals in the individual all-around and for the floor workout. In the three years between her two Olympic Games her break was taken. Additionally she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics squads. Her favourite event is floor workout. The gymnastics training began when she was two years young. Aly contributes her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. As for the future, she hopes to build a career in fashion. It is also her dream to extend her leotards line and her socks. She is writing a book titled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
